100% primitivo dried. The dry heat of southern Italy gives life to an excellent maturation of the primitivo grapes which develop berries with spicy notes, with a bewitching structure. The wine has a complex bouquet of red fruits, raisins and morello cherries
The grapes are harvested when they reach the maximum drying point. The grapes are directly subjected to cold pre-maceration, followed by maceration at controlled temperatures. After an initial refinement in second passage barriques, the wine is refined in first passage barriques to acquire greater structure and the aromas of the wood. Aging in second passage barriques for 12 months. Subsequent refinement in first passage barriques
